- Education: Candidate should have mandatory passed with a minimum of 5% marks each in maths and physics at 10+2 level and
- (aa) Graduation with a minimum 3 years degree course in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.

(ab) BE/B Tech Degree ( 4 years) from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
OR
(ac) The candidate who has cleared section A & B Examination of associate membership of the Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
